Consortium

ITI has been providing a DOT Consortium program since 1998. This program was designed for companies with 1-12 drivers who are required to participate in a drug and alcohol testing program. ITI currently has over 500 companies and over 1700 drivers enrolled in our consortium program.

DOT Consortiums must test 50% of the drivers for drugs and 10% of the drivers for alcohol with testing being dispersed thought the year, and are required to test a minimum of four times per year.

All consortium accounts will receive a Certificate of Enrollment, an annual MIS report in January (with semi-annual statistics for the previous year) that is to be placed in your DOT Drug & Alcohol binder. If all of your drivers are tested-or none are tested- each year, you will be in compliance with the DOT consortium program regulations, because the consortium is testing 50% for drugs and 10% for alcohol (not each individual company).

If you are audited by DOT, ITI consultants will work with you and DOT on any issues regarding your drug and alcohol testing procedures.
